Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her part as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of the drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials as a child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism and they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during shooting the final season of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk was doing work on the show since the third season finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) among their top television couple. Entertainment Television.
