Yael stone, a New York City based Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael Stone graduated from NIDA. At a very young age, Yael has been lucky to have worked with some of Australia's premiere storytellers, luminaries of theatre and visionaries who work behind the scenes in films as well as theatre and television. Yael is a renowned actor with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael made New York City her home following the Brooklyn Academy of Music produced this critically-acclaimed show. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery supports innovative ideas in writing and also creative projects in it's Bushwick studio.
