Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker in the US is an American artist known for his distinctive and musical style. Best known for his rapid fire lyrical flow, which is also what gave him the stage nickname Machine Gun Kelly, MGK started his rap career while at high school. He quickly became a household name thanks to the release of numerous mixtapes. His first release was the Seal of Approval Mixtape that was launched in the year 2006. MGK was inspired by the success of his debut mixtape to begin a career in music. The artist released four more mixtapes during a period of time. Then, in 2011, his career was on the rise after he signed an arrangement in partnership with Bad Boy and Interscope Records. The following year, his first album Laces Up was released and received favorable reviews from the press. In its debut at no. 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart, it featured a number of hits including Wild Boy, Invincible, Stereo and Hold On (Shut up!). General Admission was his next studio album. The album was released in October of 2015 The album was released at No. 4 on Billboard 200 as well as No. 1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
